Hugh McDonald: Academy of Distinguished Engineers - 2010

Hugh Stephen McDonald graduated from Oregon State University in 1978 with a BS in Chemical Engineering. Mr. McDonald is a nationally recognized expert in watershed management as well as project manager on many large-scale projects. Stephen is a partner in Carollo Engineering and was selected by the National Research Council to assess current practice in watershed management and provide recommendations to the EPA and Congress. Mr. McDonald developed a wide range of software used throughout the industry for water infrastructure planning. Mr. McDonald established the Susan Stutz McDonald Scholarship in CBEE in honor of his late wife who graduated in 1977 with a degree in environmental engineering.
